iStop

Is an electronic wheel chock that, when placed on a forklift's wheel, transmits information via Bluetooth to a control box that monitors the system within the logistic center.

Modern Logistic Centers prioritize the speed of their goods movement while maintaining efficiency in loading and unloading operations. Due to this pressure, many accidents occur during these procedures, often related to miscommunication between the transport driver and dock workers.

Numerous incidents have been documented where forklifts become trapped in moving transport or have fallen from the dock during unloading maneuvers.

The iStop System is engineered to prevent such accidents in logistic centers and alert to potential risks.

Once the truck is parked at the dock, loading or unloading tasks cannot begin until the truck's tire has been secured with the unique and wireless Smart Chock: The iStop.

Only when the iStop is properly placed on the truck's tire, the dock's door curtain can be opened to start the loading or unloading process, ensuring the truck remains stationary. At this point, forklift operators can safely conduct their tasks.

How Does It Work?

iStop is an electronic chock that, when placed on a vehicle's wheel, sends information via Bluetooth to a control box monitoring the system within the logistic center. Until the vehicle's wheel is secured with iStop, the electric door at the dock cannot open (provided they are connected), preventing the truck's loading or unloading.

Additionally, a green light outside the warehouse towards the truck will indicate dock availability, and a red light inside at the corresponding dock will signal that loading or unloading cannot yet commence.

When the smart chock secures the vehicle's wheel, three actions occur:

Opening an electric curtain safely and controlledly becomes possible.

A green light (traffic light) inside the warehouse will turn on, allowing the forklift operator to start loading or unloading operations.

A red light (traffic light) outside the loading dock will turn on, indicating to the transport driver that movement is restricted while work is underway.

Removing the iStop triggers two types of alerts:

a warning alarm of 5/10/15 seconds (configurable) allowing the forklift operator to exit the truck's box and return to a safe area, and a strobe light indicating the need for anyone inside the transport box to exit and return to the dock.
